Title: Hillside on a Summer Evening
Rating: General
Content notes: No warnings needed except for a newbie's heavy-handedness.
Artist notes: Watercolour pencils used as dry pencil, as dry(ish) pencil on wet and as watercolour. I've never posted art before and I've never done anything apart from pencil/ink plant drawings, so this is pretty much new all round. Done very quickly from life, not a photo.
Summary: The colours of the early evening hillside look like a fading bruise.

Lovely! I visited Wales (and England and Scotland) when I was 13, and it was breathtaking.

Thank you! This was near Portmeirion, one of my favourite spots to go. We are off to North Wales again properly in a few weeks, this was just a flying visit. I'm looking forward to getting some more practice in with these pencils :)
