Ever since getting his Mew Mew powers, Shibuya found himself feeling tired more often. It wasn't anything a quick nap couldn't help with, but it was still a bit different from the energy he used to have before. Natsume had theorized it was the cat DNA affecting his habits.

As such, it wasn't unusual for him to fall asleep at Natsume's lab. He would often just lay his head on the table and almost immediately pass out for a few minutes. The other Mew Mews had gotten used to it, so nobody bothered him unless there was something important for him to wake up for.

But this time, as he was slowly drifting back into counciousness, he felt someone running their hands through his hair. It was a very gentle touch that almost made him want to sleep again. In fact, he noticed he had somehow started to purr. But his curiosity to find out who was touching him was stronger.

He lifted his head, and found Anzu sitting across from him on the table with a soft smile, her hand stopping once he moved.

Face burning, Shibuya sat up straight. His heart was almost beating out of his chest. Even though him and Anzu had been dating for a good while, he still didn't know how to deal with her touching him.

"Sorry, did I wake you up?" She asked, putting her hands on her lap.

"N-no! I… Was just a little surprised." He looked down, and only then noticed that his cat ears and tail had come out… He quickly tried to cover up the cat ears with his hands.

Seeing this, Anzu giggled. And she reached out to pat the top of his head again.

He was glad she was happy, but his cheeks wouldn't stop burning…
