Summary: Candi's clothes are covered in dust and sand, thanks to Ghoul.
Authors Notes: Candi' is mute, so she uses sign language! she also has tics. this is a little slice-of-life scenario that can that fit into a bigger story I'm writing. if any dialogue looks weird it's because i'm writing it the way (i think) the characters would speak.

Candi looks at her... pile of clothes on the floor. her clean clothes (which, by the way, took forever to get washed) are now covered in sand. she groans, hands twitching at her sides. a knock comes from the door, and she opens it to reveal Cherri and Poison. "hey, girlie," Cherri greets with a lopsided grin. Candi frowns. go away, she signs, irritated. "no," Cherri replies, crossing his arms. Candi's frown gets even deeper.

"what's wrong?" Poison asks, hands on their hips. oh, nothing, Candi replies, all my clothes are just covered in fucking sand. Cherri's brows furrow, and Poison's eyes grow wide. "shit," they mutter. "what?" Cherri snaps at them. "i think Ghoul did that," Poison says, a hand rubbing at the back of their neck, expression apologetic. "sorry, Candi."

Candi makes a frustrated sound, head jerking to the side. the clothes she's currently wearing are covered in dust and a little blood from when she cut her hand on scrap metal in the garage. "hey, Candi, it's okay, we'll get 'em washed again, 'kay?" Cherri says. Candi shrugs, turning away from them, and going to sit on her bed (read: mattress on the floor).

Poison follows her into the room. "Candi," they start, crouching down to her level. "i'm really sorry that Ghoul messed with your clothes. i'll get them washed for you, okay? s'that sound good?" Candi glares at them skeptically, snapping in their face. "promise," they add, sticking out their pinkie.

trying to hold back a smile, Candi nods, linking her finger with Poison's. "c'mon," they say, standing back up and putting out a hand for Candi to grab. "we're goin' to Tommy's place." Candi takes it and Poison pulls her to her feet. her day is getting better already.
