Author's Notes: Written for Challenge 427: Map at fan_flashworks, and fills the "Love Without Limits" square of my 2023 Valentine's Bingo Card. Also inspired by the Heart card in the Lenormand card deck.
Summary: Hope Solo is so in love with her family.


Hope holds her daughter securely in her arms. She hasn't been able to stop looking at her beautiful baby girl. The sun kisses the girl's soft skin, adorning her with the O'Hara freckles across her face and arms. Hope has no doubt the freckles would continue down the rest of her body, if not for the blanket she's wrapped in. The baby giggles and reaches toward her mother. Hope giggles back and plays with her hands. She is so enthralled by her daughter, she can't help but kiss every freckle on her daughter's face. She maps each one, every kiss a soft caress.

Hope can't believe this is her life now. As a child, she learned that love couldn't last. Her family fell apart around her, and she grew up believing it was never meant for her. Then she met Kelley O'Hara. Kelley taught her how to open herself up and enjoy what life has to offer. Her wife is a woman beyond her dreams, and Hope never expected her life could get better. But it did. Hope's and Kelley's relationship progressed, and Kelley gave birth to this little girl in Hope's arms.

"You're going to kiss her face off," Kelley announces her presence.

Hope turns to her, eyes glistening with tears.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Kelley wraps both her wife and their daughter in a hug.

"Nothing," Hope presses her forehead against Kelley's, both looking down at their baby girl. "I'm just so happy. This makes me so happy."

Her love continues to grow, so much she's overflowing.
