"And I'll tell you another thing for free..." The giant said loudly, slamming one of his hammy fists down on the wooden table.

"Yeah, yeah. Drink up, they’re closing," His companion, a beanpole with a sneer, drained his glass.

Grumbling, the first man set his tankard down heavily, got up and followed the other man out of the bar.

Sunny crept from her hiding place under a corner booth and leapt onto the table. She sniffed past the puddles of spilled drinks to the abandoned tankard, and wormed her way inside to lap up the remaining drops of milk.
