whispered, “What could it possibly hurt
if I smiled at Prof Shen,
squeezed his shoulder, and then
maybe offered a kiss for dessert?”

Da Qing, though, was not much impressed.
“That’s the prof who we want to arrest!
He’s highly suspicious—
till we know he’s not vicious
can’t you find someone else to molest?”

“I could,” said Yunlan, without shame,
“and no doubt I should. All the same,
I cannot resist
the thought of him, kissed,
so get to work, clearing his name!”
