I could actually see a scenario in which Dan left... he never seemed very accepting of his sexuality, and it's possible that he couldn't stand the idea of being 'out' in such a closed community. Maybe he felt he was sparing Duck some pain by leaving. Interesting take on the relationship... now I want Duck to go and find Dan and keep warm.

Beautifully written as I always expect from you... and I particularly love the description of the sex (really langorous and slow, yum.) But I have to say this...uhm. Twincest! That's what I always think when characters played by the same actor get it on. Not saying it's not gorgeous of course (it is) but I'd not have thought of this pairing. (And now I'm thinking Kowalski and Duck... see what you do to me? Maybe that's why they have matching tattoos!)

Wonderful choice of accompanying song as well. Laughing Lenny... Thumbs up!
