“This just seems so weird,” Dee admitted as he dug another hole.

“What does, gardening?”

“No, plantin’ potatoes. I mean, it’s already a potato, perfectly good for roastin’ aside from the little shoots, but here we are, buryin’ them in the ground.”

“That’s how you make more potatoes, Dee. You plant them, they grow roots and shoots, you earth them up, and when the top shoots die down, you dig up your potato crop. One potato becomes several.”

“Doesn’t make it seem any less weird.” Dee planted another potato.

“You wait until harvest time; you’ll be digging for buried treasure!”
