Lara is ... aware she's getting more and more adept at killing. She doesn't like the fact - hadn't liked it on the island, hadn't liked it after, wasn't all too fond of it while up to her armpits in snow. It comes in useful, though. When there are people around who need killing. Bets her therapist would love to hear about that.

And now she knows greek fire. Making it isn't hard. Surprisingly easy, in fact, once one had the knowledge - she is reminded of a recent paper, on the breakthrough reconstruction of Roman concrete - and surprisingly useful. It says something about the situation that she's carrying three caches out it around on her person, but cost-benefit analysis suggested that quick was way to go. Lara has far too many grazes, and far too many enemies, to go about prolonging combat.
