Xena has seen many sights in her years since first she left the walls of her mother's tavern, but Lao Ma, resplendent is among the most pleasing of them all. That her mouth is for once still is no harm to the impression of her skin in the firelight, flickers and curves, shadows and smooth dips that Xena has yet to explore, that her eye traces like the shadow of a battle yet to be fought.

The length of her flank, the flex of her thigh beneath her grasp - well. Well enough, Xena could eat of this feast. Could bite and devour and eat and eat without end until even her glut was sated. Even now, she is more beast than being created by the gods - how easy it would be to ravage.

She kisses instead, the wet press of her mouth as sharp a sting as any blade she owns. Above her, Lao Ma sighs, soft and giving. A flood that washes around her like the seas split against the granite infinity of a peninsula, unchanging and uncaring of all but that it is.

She reaches up, to the tangle of cloth girding Lao Ma's waist, and pulls her onto the serpent her waiting mouth.
