I don't even get why US and UK crochet terms are so different??? Like. It's weird to me.
Okay I guess that's fair... I wonder if we call them twin because they're supposed to be like... in pairs? And we just. Divorced the term from the meaning so much that now it just means single in general? I've never actually looked into the etymology.
