Hee! I was thinking about this. Ot1h, power perversion, as in kinky sex = YES! But I think there's also an evolutionary argument to be made that it's not a perversion of the powers themselves at all, i.e. that powers which promote pair-bonding would have an adaptive advantage. So it depends which kind of "perversion" you mean, maybe?
