Artist notes: Two versions of the same image - in pencils and then with added watercolour. Referenced from the statue called 'Pan' which is in the Louvre - a Roman copy of a Greek original, the internet tells me.
Summary: Pan!Ferio because TUMBLR PEOPLE ENCOURAGED ME (it did not take much. ffw also gave me an excuse to sit down and have a go at it XD). ...There may eventually be a whole series of Greek Mythology/Rayearth images because I am now doomed, but for the moment it's just the one. XD


Sketch/pencil first. I swear the background was veeeeeery light GREEN and brown, but the scanner lost the green entirely. ^^; ALSO I made his hair longer because. Pan usually is all hairy with a beard and I refused to give Ferio one. XDD



Then I attacked it with watercolours (instead of redoing it on watercolour paper which was the plan and what I should have done but PATIENCE, what is that, ahahahahaha whoops. Hence why you can see the paper is no longer flat. ^^;)
