Summary: Tiger hates Dick Grayson.



1. His body. He's never been one to be distracted by bodies before, they are natural things fit to serve a purpose, but Grayson's muscles are something obscene. To be around him when he's shirtless is to constantly risk walking into a wall, and that is just offensive.

2. His smile. Because if his muscles are distracting, as they so embarrassingly are, his smile is somehow beyond that. So bright, so optimistic, so hopeful despite his continued existence in this fetid world. It makes him want to hope, and that is a danger that cannot be allowed.

3. His optimism beyond the smile. For Grayson isn't a person who grins just to hide his inner pain, no, Grayson is a person who usually seems to actually believe in the good of the world. He has been a superhero, he has been a dead superhero, he has been a spy. Any one of those things would've crushed the light out of a normal person, but with Grayson... He shines so bright that you can't help but notice him, and it's loathsome.

4. The way he insists on spreading that optimism to others, like a disease. It is not enough for Grayson to be happy, he has to make others happy too. He has to tease reluctant smiles from Matron, toy with the girls until they giggle at his every word, poke at him until he almost feels like grinning just to make it stop. It is absurd, it is almost like he actually cares about other people. It is enough, on most days, to make his blood feel like it is boiling.

5. The fact that he doesn't hate him. Not really, not at all. The fact that lust unfurls in his belly every time Grayson takes his shirt off, the fact that warmth glows in his chest every time he smiles. The fact that he thinks about Grayson's optimism at night, every time the darkness crowds in. The fact that... He knows his life would become so much poorer, if Dick Grayson were suddenly not in it.

Yes, he hates that most of all.
