Explanation: I wanted to make an actual puzzle for this challenge, and after a lot of thinking I hit on the idea of a Nonogram - because I love them :) I used this website to turn the image I chose into one; I tried doing it myself by pixelating the image and constructing the grid, but... turns out it's really really hard to make it solvable that way. So I turned to the internet and found that maker, and played around with the options until the final result looks ok without being impossible to do. This one is definitely solvable, because I tested it! Instructions and image beneath the cut.


Instructions:
Each number is the amount of consecutive blacked squares in that line or column - so, the 10 in the first column means that one has ten, and only ten, consecutive blacked squares. The 7 10 in the third column means seven consecutive black squares, at least one white square, and ten consecutive black ones. When completed, the black squares form an image.

Hints (for how I do it - there are surely lots of ways!):

• Start with the highest numbers; here, the 24 in the sixth row. Whichever end of the grid it starts from, there's a number of squares in the middle that have to coloured in.


• Mark squares which mustn't be black somehow! I use a dot in the centre of the square, or I suppose you could use a different colour?


• If you come to a contradiction, you've gone wrong somewhere - and it's almost always better to just start over. Believe me, I have tried working out where I made a mistake, and starting over would always have been easier and faster ;)
