Author notes: This is what you get from an over tired brain and me racing to meet the deadline after a week of craziness. This is a spin off of something I co-wrote while I was in Cardiff last year.

Monsters in the Night

Louise Harkness-Jones was always told that the monsters come out at night and like any good girls he stayed in her room so the monsters would not get her. However, one night she woke at three in the mornings after a nightmare where the Weevils took over Cardiff and turned everyone into Furbies.

The six year old knew her twin brother, Thomas, would tease her if she came to him with her nightmare and that left the girl with one other option. The Daddies had the power to make the bad dream disappear and not make Louise feel like a baby, but as she quietly approached her parent's room Louise heard sounds like she'd never heard before. It was the sounds of Papa Jack crying out, sounding as if he was in horrific pain.

When Louise peeked into the slightly ajar door she covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming. Her Daddies were both naked and Taddy Ianto from her vantage point had Papa Jack tied up and was beating on him. She could only watch for a few seconds before she ran back to her room and hid under her bed.

Louise never expected her loving father to be a monster and she was further confused when everything was normal between her parents the next morning. Did he not remember being tied up and beaten? It was a mystery Louise promised herself she'd get to the bottom of one day.
