Summary: There's a blackout in New York City - with some unsuspected consequences...
It happened unexpectedly during the late-night shift at the 27th precinct. In the blink of an eye, suddenly everything went dark.
"Hey, someone switch the light back on!", Ted demanded.
"It doesn't work - I think we have a blackout, guys!", JJ called back.
"Great", Ryo huffed sarcastically.
Great indeed, Rose thought mischievously. Now or never!
"Hey, is one of you actually groping me!?", Ted complained. Oops, that wasn't Ryo! Quickly, Rose moved on.
"Oh stop it, Drake! That tickles!", JJ giggled. Wrong guy again!
"Ryo? Please tell me that's you...", Dee said hopefully. Rose practically jumped back.
"No, Dee, I'm over here", Ryo finally revealed his position. With a triumphant smirk, Rose approached his target.
"Hey, Dee, urm...", Ryo mumbled nervously, trying to bat his hands away, "can't that wait until we're home?"
"What? But Ryo, I'm over here!", Dee replied.
"Really? Wait, but then who..."
The mystery was solved when the lights suddenly went on again. Rose found himself only inches away from Ryo's shocked face. Dammit, he had been so close!
After various cries of outrage, the second unexpected thing of the night happened: Dee's and Ryo's fists hit Rose simultaneously - followed by a different kind of blackout.
