Birthday

Mhireen was pretty sure his birthday was in Ferrum, towards the beginning of the month. They'd settled on the 15th the year before, and now the day was here again. Seven seemed so much exciting than six, even though he worried that there would be as many new things that he would have to do as get to do. He had even heard the adults talking about letting him be a page, which would be important even if Saiya said it sounded boring. But now there was cake, and presents just for him, and all of his family was together.
