Summary: Sam hates to think about what he lost that day.



Making love used to be slow, languid, in the morning light. G would gaze up at Sam, moaning, arching his back with each thrust.

Not anymore.

Now, all Sam could see was the scars. In his mind he saw G sprawled on the street, bleeding out from the barrage of bullets he'd been unable to prevent, his hands covered with so much blood he wasn't sure it would ever wash off.

Sex, when they have it, is in the dark, rough and quick, so Sam doesn't dwell on what he almost lost forever and what he might not ever get back.
