The bench was covered in a multitude of colored leaves. It was sad and lonely from disuse and missed the weekly conversations by one of the most –if not the most– attractive set of parents in all of Pittsburgh.

It remembers the last conversation between them, about how she was fleeing to Canada with her wife and kids, leaving him behind –all alone.

The sadness in his eyes was quickly masked by his cocky bravado.

The bench knew that was the end…

…until it wasn't and the man returned with his slightly taller son and a different blond beside him.
