Challenge 5: Five Things

  • Mar. 11th, 2012 at 2:25 PM
Our new challenge is:

FIVE THINGS

This includes "five times" fanworks, and as always, it's up to you how you interpret it. Go nuts!

Each work created for this challenge should be posted as a new entry to the comm. Posting starts now and continues up until the challenge ends at 4 p.m. PST on March 20th. No sign-up required.

Mods will tag your work with fandom, media and challenge. When you've posted entries to three consecutive challenges, you will earn a name tag, and we'll go back and tag all your previous entries with your name.

As always, all kinds of fanworks in all fandoms are welcome. Please have a look at our guidelines before you play. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact a mod. And if you have any suggestions for future challenges, you can leave them in the comments of this post. \o/

So if a Five Things and Five Times both work, I'm guessing 5 people does too right?

Hey, I have a question! I have an idea of something to do for the current Five Things challenge, and I've just realized that I've already posted a couple of ficlets on my LJ that fit very nicely with the concept I have. Would it be acceptable to incorporate that already-posted stuff into my challenge response, which would still be at least 3/5ths new material, or would that be completely out of line under the "new and never before posted fic" rule?

No re-posting, sorry. It has to be all new stuff for the comm.

Got it. That's what I was afraid of, but I figured it was worth asking, because I thought it might be a bit of a gray area whether, if you take something already done and expand it with lots of new stuff, the end result counts as "new." Oh, well, we'll see if I can generate five completely new things before the deadline, so that it fits the prompt. If not, I can always post what I have elsewhere, I guess. Thanks for the quick response!

Thanks! I think I'm giving up on that idea, anyway, and will try to come up with something a little less ambitious. We'll see! :)
