"Can't go back inside," the Dwarf replied, wiping snow from his beard.

"Maybe we should call a truce?" The Wizard sounded miserable.

"Not on your life," the Dwarf said, "and I'm more than happy to wish you a happy holiday out here in the cold. It's Christmas inside and out."

"I'd rather be inside."

"Who needs a fire? Not I. Man up, spellslinger."

"He says through chattering teeth."

"I'm too tired to polish my knuckles with your face. Be thankful."

"And a merry Christmas to you, too."
