Barret still couldn’t get any damn rest.

It should’ve been simple, right? There were people who wanted to hurt the Planet; take them out of the equation, and everything’s fine. Except that it wasn’t that simple, and a lot of people who didn’t actually want to suck the Planet dry themselves had enjoyed the power that came when other people did it. They didn’t like having their comfy lives taken from them.

He wanted to go back home and spend time with his family. Instead he was out there, trying to find something else to keep society running. Go figure.
