Author notes: This is the first thing I have ever done with Doctor Who so please PLEASE forgive me. I have a bad habit of never doing characters justice. Also well I have never done anything like this-crossovers I mean so again I am sorry! This was supposed to be funny but it kind of took another turn! Oh well I hope you enjoy it! Also just to clarify, the little yellow people are supposed to speak how I have written it haha I am not that rubbish ;) for [community profile] fan_flashworks

150 years on and the Earth had fallen victim to the desolation of the legendary, mythical race of Dragons. Wings of steal, stretching out for miles at a time. Teeth like razors and eyes burning with rage. Earth had changed in 150 years. The human race had dissipated and moved on into the stars, being replaced by an entirely new race of people, who have come to with stand the destruction of the Dragon race and renamed their planet; Draak!

The Dragon planet as these little people now called it, used their natural resources to create their clothing, simple grass skirts for both the male and the female of their race. They used the trees that had been left free and well to rebuild their homes. They used their hands to dig a hole as a family to create a safe house deep in the earth to protect them when the beasts destroyed their newly built homes, or when the raids happened.

Dragons were notorious hoarders. Grabbing anything of wealth and guarding it with their lives. Hoards could be a small mountain of fine jewels and numerous things made of gold. They could also range to great statues of emeralds and rubies. Amethysts and gold. Necklaces and rings. Precious stones and so much more. They did not care for finely embroidered rugs or tapestries. They only
wanted the treasures.

Despite the people of Draak being less wealthy than many of the other planets spinning around in the same system, the Dragon colony had targeted them for their finely built building, wishing to destroy the beauty. Of course the people of the planet had their family treasures, which they hid away in their safe house deep in the earth away from the clutches of the beasts of the sky.

The Draakonion people had never seen that of a human before. The human race had abandoned their planet many years before they had inhabited it. That was until one day four of the Draakonion people went out to collect some dried grass to weave their younger beings some grass skirts and some to stuff their sleeping pillows with.

The four Draakonion's stared at the thing face down in the dirt. This thing wore some funny material, had lots of dark hair, the hands poking out from the material were bruised and cut badly, the ash and dust sticking to the blood bubbling out of them. One of them wondered over to the thing and prodded it's shoulder.

“What is it? It looks to big to be us?”

“Maybe it is one of those that lived on this planet before us Alma.” answered the first little person called Alta to the other called Alma. She was the younger of the four who were in fact a family unit in themselves. She had the signature yellow skin of the entire race, the same red eyes, but she was still growing and only stood at two feet tall. Also she was very different from her family unit. She had a pink tuft of hair on her head instead of the orange tuft like her family unit. She looked at Alta.

“Maybe we should help it? The beasts are sure to be coming again soon. We cannot leave it.”

Alta looked at the thing on the ground. It was much to big to carry themselves.

“We cannot carry it. To heavy for us.”

“Alta, Alma is right we cannot leave it. The beasts will take no mercy apon the soul.” Amadis, the healer of the family unit muttered, worried for the beings welfare and overall safety when the Dragon's took to raiding for the third time this day. Her orange tuft of hair was greying with her age and her eyes growing older each day that passed. She ambled over quietly, gently pushing Alta away, examining the being from a distance. Her small yellow hands hovered over the beings oozing hands, her eyes practically seeing all of the individual sand particles dipping into the blood. The three other Draakonion's stood in wait, their eyes scanning the darkening sky, wishing for once they would be left alone for just one day.

“He is less in danger than the other. Maybe they be the same? His injuries are minor, no burns like other being. He need water, wounds cleaned and rest. He must be moved.” Amadis looked to her son Amadeus. He was the older brother of Alma. “It will not wake, it is in coma state from bang to it's head. Get your friends, help us move it to safe house with other being.”

Amadeus did as his mother said, hurrying as quickly as his little yellow legs could carry him to find as many of his friends as he could to help moved the being to the safe house just like his mother had asked. Amadeus looked up to his mother and he watched her medical work and it was astounding. Alma wondered around the being, marvelling the look. She went to touch the beings thick dark hair only to be scolded by her mother.

“Do not touch. It may be in coma state but a touch in wrong place could change everything. Must be careful my sweet. Stand with Alta yes?”

Alma did as she was told. She to looked up to her mother and loved her medical work. She had watched, from a distance all be it her work with the burns and bruises and cuts of the other being found in the ruins of what used to be their church. She stood next to her father who took her small yellow hand in his. Alta watched his Amadis examine it, waving her hands before the oozing cuts and over it's forehead, her red eyes closing as she did so.

“Amadis what can you feel?”

“Has some injuries inside. Can sense a broken rib or two. Not hard to fix.” she said with a frown. She was happy that it's injuries were minor and easy to fix, but the other? That was a different kettle of Dragon bait all together. Soon many of Amadeus' friends came to aid.

“We have come to help Amadis.”

Amadis instructed them to be careful. Amadeus was very good at picking people to help move beings that had been spat out through time onto an earth with a new name. They circled around it, following Amadis' instructions carefully as to not get anything wrong. They carefully rolled it over, for easy carrying, before carefully picking it up, three holding his head, the others situated around its body and supporting it's back.

“Move to safe house. Put in room next to other being.” Amadis said loudly enough for all of the Draakonion's to hear. Amadeus and his group, moved towards the safe house steps in the ground, Amadis, Alta and Alma in tow. Alta kept Alma close as to not let her run off just in case of a sudden untimely attack.

“Go to what is left of home. I will take Alma to safe house. Get some blanket for new being.”

Alta nodded passing Alma to her mother and made his way to what was left of the small family units home. Amadis ushered everyone onto the staircase to the safe house, a tight grip on Alma's hand. She left the entrance open slightly, for her Alta to come in safely.

“How they get here? No one comes back once they left?” Alma said quietly to her mother as they reached the safe house deep under the ground. Amadis once in the main room turned to face her child.

“Alma things are very strange. Beings get dropped here all of time you know?”

“But what are they?”

“Will ask when newest being wake up okay?”

Alma nodded, her red eyes wide as she left her mother's side to wait for Alta to return. She wanted to give the new being it's blankets. She wanted to help it and the other one two. Amadis sighed, gathering up her medical things and making her way to the room at the back. Amadeus ushered his friends out and back to the surface to join their families in their respective safe houses. He then went to take his sister away and to the kitchen to give her a meal which she very well needed. He was not going to make another grass skirt for her until she needed one.

Alta made his way quickly with a bundle of grass woven blankets towards the staircase. He noticed the sky had started to darken. It was sign the beasts were coming.

They always came when the sky darkened.

It had been a couple of days since the two beings had been spat out through time, by an unknown source. The first being's burns were healing thanks to Amadis and her healing. The second being was healing well also.

“Where are we?” whispered the first to the second.

“I don't know... my head hurts though.”

The first groaned slightly, the skin on its back peeling and oozing out yellowing puss every now and then. At the sound Amadis appeared, starting the second being.

“You are awake. How you feel?”

“My head hurts. W-What are you?”

“Me I am being of Draak. What are you?”

“Human?”

The little yellow person stared in awe. The second being was still slightly startled, despite working with Torchwood, it was almost a rare chance to run into an alien that didn't want to murder you on the spot.

“You are human? One to live here first?”

“Live where first I don't know where I am?”

“Calm, you still injured inside. Ribs won't heal with you stressing. Won't hurt you. Here to heal you and other human? Do you have name?”

“Ianto Jones.”

The little yellow being smiled.

“You are both male being yes?”

Ianto nodded, regretting it quickly as a wave of dizziness came over him. The little yellow being came over quickly, standing on a well made wooden stool, hands on his arm. He glanced at the little yellow being again, it's eyes swimming with concern.

“Lie down. Rest yes? I tend to other human. He have name?”

“Jack.” whispered Ianto quietly, as his blue eyes closed to try and push away the dizziness. He relaxed on the many beautifully woven grass blankets. He had thought to tell it that Jack should heal himself, but that would have normally happened by now and he was starting to worry a little bit, but he didn't have the strength at the moment to utter the words.

It hurt to much to see his Jack crippled and vulnerable.

“Calm, you name is Jack yes?”

Jack groaned in reply. He ached and his skin burned. He had no idea what was happening. He had no idea where he was or why he wasn't healing alone. He had no idea how he got into this place or how he got in the state he was in.

“Where are we?” he whispered quietly, wincing and grimacing as the little yellow person dabbed away the puss spilling from his burns. He bit his lip roughly, his eyes squeezing shut as the pain rushed through him like a flame.

“Draak. Human lived here before us. Dragon fire ruin our homes. You drop her in middle of raid. Burns bad, but easy to heal.”

“What do you mean humans lived here before you?”

“Draak... human called it Earth. Dragon's came, burn land and homes. Kill our beings and steal what riches families have. Human could not bare Dragon. Beasts so fierce. We accustomed and prepared for raids and attacks. Human went out to stars long ago.”

Jack puffed out breaths as the little yellow person got towards the worst of his burns on his back. Despite the cleaning being quick, it didn't stop it from hurting horribly. Jack still couldn't get his head around Dragons. Further still he couldn't believe humans would completely abandon their home planet? Yes he was told some would travel beyond the stars but never was it mentioned that they would completely abandon it and allow others to occupy it.

“Do you know how we got here? Me and my partner?”

“No. We find both of you outside vulnerable. We cannot let out to high ground. Dragon raid has been longest one yet.”

Jack sighed in relief as it spread a balm made from the healing sap of the trees over his bruises and burns. “This help skin knit together again.”

Jack turned his head, seeing the little person in just a grass skirt and next to him was Ianto, peaceful and resting, hands banged up like nothing he had seen before.

“Amadis? Water for beings.”

Jack saw another of the little yellow beings, and smiled slightly. The two looked the same besides the voice tones and pitches and the colouring. The one called Amadis beckoned the other over. Jack watched as it tentitively moved across the room towards Jack followed by another who looked different.

“This Alta, partner of me. This Alma, child of me. They bring you and your partner water.” Amadis said. Alta placed a bowl beside Jack and went to help Alma place the other bowl next to Ianto. Once done they turned to Amadis.

“What are they Amadis?”

“Human... This Jack.” she pointed to Jack and then said, “And this Ianto. Harmless. Not sure how they got here.”

Alta nodded, taking hold of Alma's hand.

“We ask he, the being who came with a lady friend? Maybe he know?”

“Go, be careful Alta, the Dragon may still be there.”

With that Atla left the room, taking his daughter away leaving Amadis to tend to giving Jack and Ianto water. As she reached Jack's head he looked into her red eyes. She gave a small smile, asking Jack to try and raise himself slightly so she could help him. Jack did his best, as she gave him some of the water. Once done, she placed the half empty bowl down again and helped him down.

“Who have you sent your partner to see?”

“Do not know who he is, he with a lovely lady friend though.”

Right...

“Alta bring someone to speak with you two. He come to explain situation.”

Jack was healing well, but he felt so old, not having his immortality to back him up. He was now healed enough to wear his clothing again and was sitting with Ianto when Amadis came through announcing the visitor. Jack and Ianto sat in wait, as Amadis ushered in the visitor. Jack glared slightly.

“Hello, long time no see.”

“What did you do?” snapped Jack, raising from his place on Ianto's makeshift bed. The man in what would have been the door way clapped his hands together, a small smile on his face. He then pulled at the hem of his tweed looking jacket and tried to explain himself.

“About that. Now listen it was partly my fault-”

“It was all his fault he just wont admit that.”

Ianto rolled his eyes and Jack frowned, his hands balled into tight fists.

“Tell us what happened and TAKE us back!”

“Right well, you know all this timey-”

“Don't wind out the spiel please! What did you do Doc? You better find a way to get us back to our time zone!”

“I do... It just cant happen yet. Probably not for a couple of weeks actually.”

Jack stared at the new Doctor. He was not... a happy Jack.
