"Hi there," Tony says and then he pauses to give the flower store owner a chance to recover. He probably should have done this online but if he's going to chose flowers for an anniversary gift then he wants to get up close with them first. After all Bucky deserves the best.

"Hello." The store owner is showing admirable poise considering the fact that Tony Stark---Tony Stark! is standing right in front of her. She memorizes every detail so that later she can tell her friends. In fact she's so busy making sure she'll remember what Tony is wearing that she completely fails to hear his question.

"I beg your pardon. Could you say that again?"

Tony smiles. He definitely should have done this online. "Do you have any good smelling flowers? I mean good and strong?"

Flustered the owner considers her answer. After all the air around her is thick with the scent of flowers.

"How about gardenias?" There is a vase close at hand and she pulls it closer so Tony can get a better look.

Tony bends forward and breathes in the scent. It's just what he wanted. He beams. "They're perfect."

The store owner returns Tony's smile. "Let me make them up into a bouquet for you."

"I don't suppose you have any more of them?"

"A few maybe. How many would you be wanting?"

"Three hundred and sixty five," Tony says with a grin. One flower for every day he has known and loved Bucky.
