Summary: Fuu feels a little hollow.

Returning to ordinary life, Fuu feels a little hollow. It surprises her how difficult it is to adjust to life without the power of a Magic Knight, when not that long ago she hadn't the slightest idea such power existed at all.

Anguish gnaws at her, the loss of Emeraude still haunts her dreams, a phantom pain that no one else could possibly understand. And loneliness fights for its place in her heart, too. For all that she still sees Hikaru and Umi from time to time, the only two people in the entire world that understand what she is going through, this is all too often her burden to bear alone.

She tries not to think of Ferio, or any of the other people she met and befriended in Cephiro. But mostly Ferio. Ferio, who might hate her now for her role in Emeraude's death. She wants to see him again, just once, because somehow she thinks he could have helped her through this.

She wonders, sometimes, if she had a choice… if she would go back, if she would do it all again.

But she never wonders long, because deep down she knows the answer: yes. Always yes.
