The movie had been playing for ten minutes, but neither of them was really watching. The living room was only lit by the soft glow of the screen. Viola nestled closer to Francesco, resting her head on his shoulder.

“Sleepy already?” he asked.

“A little. Long day.”

Francesco brushed a gentle kiss across her forehead, and she lifted her gaze, kissing him back with a heady mix of warmth and softness.

“I thought you wanted to watch the movie…” he murmured.

Viola switched off the TV and pulled him closer. “I might have a better idea.”

Francesco laughed quietly. “Approved.”
