Forgotten about! The war had been over for two years, and the Centauri’s last surviving Narn prisoner had simply been forgotten about! As if that weren’t bad enough, all Londo could say was “These things happen,” as if that explained Na’Toth being held imprisoned and in chains when all other Narn prisoners had long since been freed, or executed.

In all honesty, G’Kar suspected the latter, but it was unlikely he could ever prove it, and even if he could, what purpose would it serve? It would merely spark fresh outrage, and calls for retribution, so he would remain silent on that score, but this… This was intolerable! That his aide, faithful, loyal Na’Toth, should have endured such cruel treatment for so long…

Oops, we forgot she was even there! And yet, the guards hadn’t forgotten to feed Na’Toth, they’d simply continued to follow orders given to them by someone long since dead, simply because those orders had never been countermanded, and for that small mercy, G’kar could only be grateful. It meant that one last Narn prisoner had survived to be repatriated, although Na’Toth would probably never fully recover from her ordeal.

Still, she would at last be free.
