"Mozz -"

"I'm not here!" came a voice from out on the balcony. An obvious lie considering...

Neal shook his head and closed the door. "No Peter." He turned and, through the open balcony door, caught sight of Mozzie hunched over something. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

"Your nothing looks a lot like making a mess with dirt."

Mozzie scowled over his shoulder. "It's not dirt, Neal. It's potting soil."

"Pretty sure my question still stands, Mozz."

"Obviously I'm gardening." Mozzie motioned toward the narrow box full of soil and not much else.

Of course. Why hadn't Neal thought of such an obvious thing already? "What are you gardening? And why? More importantly, why on my balcony?"

Apparently ignoring the first two questions, Mozzie said, "Because my place doesn't get good sunlight."

"Monday does."

"Sold it."

Neal just motioned toward the box.

"Oh! Right. It's... nothing."

Neal was suspicious. "Is it going to get me arrested?" A beat. "Again."

"No," Mozzie answered in a tone that implied 'possibly'.

"Get rid of it. Now." He held up a hand to forestall any objections. "I don't care. I don't want to know. Just get it off my balcony and away from my apartment. Find a new Monday with a balcony or a yard."

"But Neal -"

Neal pointed toward the door. "Now."

Shaking his head, Mozzie picked up his planter box and muttered, "Ruining a good money making opportunity here," as he shuffled to the door.
