Notes: Also written for 100ships prompt “green”. Mid-episode “The Egg-Pire Strikes Back Part 1”, canon divergent. A little crack-y. (Second chances as in this being a villain’s second chance at doing their evil plan [though the second attempt has admittedly gone off the rails].)
Summary: Ooblar questions his brother’s methods when it comes to getting the DNA regenerator.

“Sir, are you sure that this is, eh, necessary for the plan?”

“Incredibly so, Ooblar.”

“Well, it’s just—ah, there are certain yokians—not me, by the way—who are curious about your... rather unique methods?”

Ooblar vaguely gestures at the scene which he (rather rudely, the king might add) extracted Goobot from: a lovely picnic lunch that had originally been planned as a date between Judy and Hugh but then Goobot was invited to—so that Goobot could experience more of their culture, of course.

“I dare say that they oughtn’t question me and my ‘rather unique methods’ if they’re effective.”

Ooblar clinks his claws together as he leans in, whispering, “So you’ve gotten the machine?”

Goobot glances away. “Not quite... but make no mistake that I am close—”

Goobot cuts himself off as a hand claps down on his shoulder. “Hey, Goobie, is this that brother you mentioned—Ooblar, was it? Ah, it’s a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance, Mr. Ooblar!”

Ooblar blinks at the hand Hugh extends for a moment before remembering his manners and taking hold of it. “Uh, yes, a pleasure indeed to meet those who so kindly housed our king!”

Judy has since taken up Goobot’s free side, giggling at Ooblar’s statement as she loops an arm around Goobot’s shoulders. “Oh, it’s been our pleasure!”

Meanwhile, unseen to them up in a tree, Jimmy Neutron starts to hit his set of binoculars against his head with gritted teeth.
