Summary: Aberglasney Gardens rewards a visit any season of the year

Aberglasney Gardens are in Llangathen, in Carmarthenshire, south Wales.  The mansion is over 500 years old and the gardens, which cover over 10 acres, are the result of many different garden styles.  Restoration to the gardens began in 1999 and now there are many different areas to visit, including the Asiatic Garden, the Upper Walled Garden, the Cloister Garden, and the Stream Garden.  There is also a Ninfarium, with its collection of sub-tropical and exotic plants.  The gardens are well-worth visiting in different seasons, as each has its beauties and varying colours.  The house frequently has shows by local artists.
