Summary: Midnight interlude during the Collapsed God arc.

Here in this collapsing universe, Xie Xi wakes up in the middle of the night from a dream of Central, Jiang Xie lying, bloody, in the wreckage of his crushed rose garden.

There are three souls sleeping in different wings of the house, but they're only fragments of his Jiang Xie, precious and yet not the same. If Xie Xi slips along the dim corridors to one and finds him sleeping, Jiang Xie might surface for a moment.

Jiang Xie told him to be rational. Xie Xi can't indulge in wistfulness. There's a universe to pull back together, after all.
