Fangfei has no room for regrets. She carries the weight of two deaths, two feuds, twin drives for revenge. The people around her keep pushing her to the cliff’s edge, as if she should take cruelty as the price of breathing. She’s too busy fighting for survival to look back.

And yet, she can admit that Ruoyao’s animosity disappoints her. She always wanted a sister.
