“What is it Isa?” Navid asked as the old woman came rushing into the shop excited to tell him the latest goings on in Craiglang.

“You’ll never believe it.”

“Isa, I never believe anything you say, why would this time be any different”

“Oh I can’t Navid, I promised I wouldn’t tell.”

“Then don’t.”

“But people have to know,”

“No Isa, they don’t have to.”

“So I was speaking to Peggy, who was speaking to Sadie, who was told that you know who from Parkmill has some unpleasant habits.”

“What unpleasant habits?”

“They’re an awful gossip and they can’t stop.”
