When Spike saw a new message from Faith, he knew that it had to be about Buffy and for a moment he feared the worst; hell, if he had a beating heart, it would be leaping in his throat.
After reading the short text, he let out a sigh of relief and rushed upstairs to get a soothing bubble bath ready for Buffy. Apparently they’d just cleaned up a demon nest and ended up covered in sticky goo, which had made Buffy extra cranky.
So he poured her favorite liquid soap and waited for her with the perfect post-slaying ritual.

:) Love this! And love that Faith thought highly enough of him to give him a head's up, and of B to make sure her man was waiting, ready, for her.

Ah, thanks. :)
I'm such a softie, I like to imagine they all end up getting along in the future. πŸ˜„
You know, I can't always make my own life easier, but I sure can make theirs easier. It's a soothing thought, sometimes!

VERY true! We need more fluff and less angst! (Says the pot!)

Haha, it's all right, we all enjoy different things in fiction. πŸ˜‚
Personally I just need the fluff and the HEA/HFN. I have enough problems and angsty stuff going on IRL so I'm usually not in the mood for reading or writing that for my beloved characters too.
Unlike life, I have 100% control on what goes on in fiction, so I tend to go the "happily ever after" way 99% of the time. πŸ˜‰

I feel that, and having so much fluff is a great thing! :) For me, writing is usually a good way to work out my own emotions that I have to keep buried in RL. But I always enjoy getting a good fluff piece too! ;)
