Title: Alibi
Original Poetry
Rating: PG
Length: 64 words
Content notes: mentions murder
Summary: A decima poem about the need for an alibi.

Murder! You need an alibi

Quickly, lightning sometimes strikes twice,

Maybe you’ll get lucky, suffice

To say, the best lies hold truth, try

Not to get caught in one, apply

The seven-fold truth, what you see

Is what you get; don’t make a plea

You’ll regret when you can always

Spin a truth that’s sure to amaze

Your peers and get you off scot-free
