Frank knows better than to mess around on stage, just like he knows that he's not supposed to run into oncoming traffic. does he still do it? yes, he does, the same way he refuses to look before he crosses the street.

which is why, when he jumped on Gerard's back and nearly knocked them over, he simply grinned like a maniac at them while they glared. Gerard stayed away from him after that, eyes dark and looking at him in the way that tells Frank he's in big trouble. Frank keeps playing, throwing himself across the stage and sliding on his knees and rubbing up against Ray since Gerard won't come back.

and he thinks about it, wanting the show to be over already so he and Gerard can be alone, because he knows what's going to happen and it makes him giddy.
