Happy hated this part of the job. Not getting Tony off the couch, but doing so after the rock star had been partying. He sighed and used to toe of his shoe to nudge the couch hard enough to move it about an inch. "C'mon, T - time to go to work."

Tony grunted. He rolled onto his stomach, arm dangling off the side of the couch, knuckles brushing the floor.

Happy sighed. "Tony!" he snapped sharply.

It was enough to get Tony's attention, but not enough for him to do more than lift his head and drop it back down again.

A loud knock startled Tony at least to almost sitting. The knock was followed by the 'two minutes to showtime' warning from the stage manager.

"What are you on this time, T?"

Tony grunted again and got to his feet. He pushed fingers through his hair and stretched his arms over his head.

"Wipe your face," Happy said slowly, waving a finger in the direction of Tony's nose. Tony tried to move past Happy to get to the door. Without cleaning his face, but Happy put a hand in the center of Tony's chest. "You cannot go out there like that." He nudged Tony toward the mirror. Once the man had sufficiently cleared the powder from his mustache, Happy gave him a quick once-over before opening the door. "Showtime!" he said.

Tony clapped Happy on the shoulder and stepped out of the room, immediately shifting into his performer persona as he followed the assistant sent to herd the rock star toward the stage.
