Golden hair tied up in a sensible ponytail trailed behind the girl as she fled from the cabin in the woods, a trio of bears hot on her trail. She’d only stopped to rest and eat, but even innocent actions have consequences.

“Stop!” one of the bears called. 

Goldilocks put on a burst of speed, hoping to reach home before the bears caught her. 

The next day, yellow police tape cordoned off a section of the forest. It was a gory scene. All that was left of the victim was a sensible ponytail soaked in blood and a severed phalange.
