And outwardly Princess Aurora conformed to all the constraints put upon her, but inwardly she chaffed and caused those in whose daily care she was, much concern. For to Aurora what was precious was not the royal lineage she was supposed to uphold, but the ability to be herself and love who she wanted, and that desire would undo them all.
