Hannalore Dietrich sat down at her desk in her office tent, as she began to write her mission report notes. It had been a risk to take her favorite fountain pen to the desert, with all the sand that got into everything, but so far, she’d been able to keep it clean enough to not get damaged. She unrolled a map, to copy the grid coordinates for the notes, as she wrote in her flowing artistic handwriting on another piece of paper. We engaged the Rat Patrol in a series of firefights at the listed grid coordinates, losing several soldiers each time, and they got away unharmed again. She knew she would need a better trap next time, as merely breaking off the engagement would be an impractical solution.
