Yawning, Willow walked into the kitchen where Buffy was sitting pensively with a glass of water.
“Hey, you’re back!” said the witch.
Buffy smiled. “Yep. And you’re… not wearing Warren’s face anymore. That’s a huge relief.”
“Oh, yeah. Tell me about it…” she said, pouring herself some orange juice. “Kennedy helped me out with that. We… we discovered that Amy had cursed me,” she explained, sitting opposite to Buffy.
Buffy sighed. “Wow. I liked her more when she was a rat. How are you, Wills?”
“Better, thanks,” she said. “How did it go with Spike? Is the chip still malfunctioning?”

Buffy turned the glass in her hands, nervously. “No. As it turned out, I did dial the right number; Riley sent a team.”
“Oh, that’s great!” exclaimed the witch. “Did they fix the chip?”
“They said the decision was up to me. I told them to remove it.”
Willow looked taken aback. “Oh… oh! That’s… wow. Bold move.”
“Spike is dealing with a lot,” said Buffy. “The First’s been pulling his strings all this time and he’s got the whole soul thing. He doesn’t need another thing messing with his head.”
Willow smiled. “It’s okay. I trust your judgment, Buffy.”
