Summary: The Centre is on Jarod’s trail again. Will Jarod outsmart them once more?



Jarod was working in a funeral home for his pretender roll. There was a man that owned this place that Jarod knew was swindling good people out of their hard-earned money for no reason. Jarod was there to set him straight. He had just called the police and told them what was going on. They were on their way to the home right then.

When they got there, they were asking the director questions and asked Jarod if he noticed anything out of the ordinary. Jarod gave them copies of everything the man had been doing to his clients and the police arrested him immediately. Jarod was pleased with the outcome, especially for the people he had swindled through the years. They may not get it back, but they wouldn’t have to worry about him cheating anyone else from this day forth.

Jarod went home and started packing. He needed to get on the road. He knew he had stayed too long and Sydney and Miss Parker and their goons would be here any moment now. Jarod hurried as fast as he could, so that his trail would be far away from them.

As Jarod left the city, he saw Miss Parker’s car and Sydney was with him. Why couldn’t they leave him alone? He could do so much out in the world, but they wanted him for bad things. Jarod had to leave, even if he was tired of running. Jarod just prayed that he covered his tracks fairly well. On to the next place.

He liked riding the bus, because he met so many good people there. He found them all interesting and loved talking with anyone. He could finally relax and plan his next adventure.
