The fake lawyer in question ducked behind Donna's desk in a feeble attempt to escape.

Donna, giving the kid an arch look, simply shook her head. "No." Then pointed toward the office door.

"C'mon. Please? You gotta help me here," Mike pleaded.

The arch look remained. "You'd better go take your lumps before it gets worse."

"Worse how?"

"Polishing his shoes."

Mike looked perplexed.

"Do you know how many pairs of shoes he owns?" Donna asked.

Mike frowned. "He's a guy. Like, five?"

One corner of Donna's mouth quirked up in a wicked little grin. "If that's what you'd like to think." Truth? Fiction? Who knows.

"No way he has more shoes than you."

Donna scoffed. "Of course not. But you know how meticulous he is."

With a sigh, Mike slinked around the desk, but on a brave face, and walked into Harvey's office.
