He’s a dog from Aoteoroa New Zealand

And we all know his name

As it’s Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy

Now, Hairy Maclary had a problem and after asking all his friends what he should do about it, one of them, it might have been Bottomley Potts, but no-one’s too sure, suggested contacting Tigger Holmes.

So that is what he did.

And very soon Tigger Holmes, wearing a sou’wester, and Pooh Watson, wearing a bowler hat, arrived at Donaldson’s Dairy.

Hairy Maclary took Tigger and Pooh Bear round the back of the dairy, where they waited.  And waited.  And then suddenly there was another Hairy Maclary, only bigger, and, although it hardly seemed possible, even hairier.

“I see what your problem is,” Tigger said, “but don’t worry, I can solve it.”

And Tigger approached the second Hairy Maclary, took hold of some of the hair and pulled.  But nothing happened.

So then he called Pooh Bear to come and help him and together they pulled.  And pulled.  Until the hair flew off and covered Tigger and Pooh and revealed…

Scarface Claw!

Who said “EEEEOWWW”.

But the hairy mass, which was Tigger and Pooh, replied with “GRRROWWLLL!” and Scarface Claw ran away as fast as he could.

“I don’t think you’ll have any more problems there now,” Tigger said to Hairy Maclary.

Holmes and Watson to the rescue

In the shape of Tigger and Pooh

Scared off the hairy imposter

For there should never be two

As there is only one Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy
