Summary: Edrehasivar VII -- Maia -- contemplates an accomplishment.


The bridge over the Istandaärtha was the largest and most visible of Edrahasivar VII's bridges; not the only such feat. Not even the only physical bridge replete with ingenious engineering and intricate, entrenched politics. Maia was justifiably happy with the overt, unarguably present structures, but the bridges he was most proud of, that warmed his heart, were far more subtle: Mer Celehar was not the only prelate-Witness for the Dead, Kiru Athmaza no longer singular in her achievement as maz, so many other metaphorical but nevertheless real bridges between people and over obstacles. He hoped there would be many more.
