Trigun: Dizain Poem: Guilt of Equals

  • Apr. 5th, 2023 at 9:38 PM
Title: Guilt of Equals
Fandom: Trigun (1998)
Rating: Teen
Pairings + Characters: Millions Knives/Vash the Stampede
Length: 123
Summary: Shame is a feeling reserved for lower beings.
Content Notes: Implied Underage + Implied Non-con (if you squint), Incest
Author's Notes: Written for the "Je Ne Regrette Rien (I Regret Nothing)" prompt. It's been a while since I've written a poem of any sort, so I'm sorry if it's a bit unfocused.

He was a quiet thing, the frost to flame
That his brother lit on the sullen sands
On his dear own night of passion and gain
For all his love was no longer in chains
And the word of God became his own land
"Knives" was a sound that tasted like iron
As sharp as the blades that snaked around him
Remorse was as foreign as Earth's fires
In those cunning eyes that gleamed like diamonds
At the sight of their bodies joined by limbs
A guilt that is shared by their own doings
The guilt of perversion and lack of doubt
Of the joy in one another's blooming
As blossoming angels do not seek out
The guidance from frightened stares and whispering.
