Aloy sees one cloud, trailing its way across the sky, that looks like a goose would if a goose had been flattened by a scrapper. And was loosing half its feathers. And was turning into more of a piece of disintegrating fabric the more she watched it pass by the distant smoke of Mother's Watch.

She sees the bright blue of braiding, the dull tan of the fabric bracing her leg. The coloured feathers of her spear turned walking stick.

She sees no rabbits helpfully hopping along the path beneath her bow.

Aloy sees a long day of waiting ahead of her.
