Leia looks at the force ghost of her father, and glares at him harshly, “I can’t forgive you. Not after what you did to me. Not after… Alderaan. Not after you hurt Luke and Han. Go away.”

 

“I’m sorry, Leila.”

 

Leia snaps back, “Don’t call me that. That was my dad’s nickname for me. You killed him.” Leia can feel inside how close she is to letting the room shake a bit, because she doesn’t know how long she’ll be able to control things, after he decided to show up, after she had yet another nightmare about Alderaan last night.

 

“Leia, I’m sorry. Can I at least try to protect you and actually be helpful?” Anakin tries to project warmth and care in his version of a Force Hug, but Leia shrinks away, though slower than when he’d first tried it.

 

Leia tries to take a second to at least act like she’s thinking about it, despite knowing what her answer would be, when Luke interrupts, “Yes, Leia would appreciate it. After all, with all the attempts on her life…” Leia manages to hit both men with her laser-sharp glare, and puts her hands on her hips.

 

She turns to Anakin first, “I can’t forgive you. Also, Han and I are a couple. But, I’m tired of everyone yelling at me about needing protection, and Luke can’t follow me to the Senate, if he wants to train Jedi on Yavin. However, if you mess up too badly…” She lets the threat hang, before turning to Luke, “Please don’t answer for me again without asking me. Ever. Especially about things related to him. I love you, but I sometimes think you got brainwashed by him.

 

Then a second figure pops up, beside Anakin. Leia immediately recognizes the figure as Padme, their birth mother.

 

“I’m so proud of you, Leia. You did a great job in the Senate, and thank you for working with Mon to get that bill passed. Tell her I said hello from the Force, if you can, without her thinking you’re crazy. And go to Naboo.”
