Summary: Ed makes the grave mistake of reading the evening paper.

"The Central Times just called you our national treasure," Ed calls from the living room the moment Roy steps inside.

He pauses at the door, one arm tangled in a pile of military standard fabric and peers into the room. Ed's upside down, dangling off the couch and squinting dubiously at the evening paper. His hair pools delightfully down onto the floor and Roy can't help but note that the only treasure in the room is the beautiful young man in silver and gold, illuminated by the flicker of the fire.

Roy must have said it out loud because said treasure tumbles onto the ground with a sound of visceral disgust and doesn't move an inch until Roy finally sheds his layers and goes to claim him.
